About to the School of Modern Media Technology and Arts
经国家教育部批准，学校于2017年3月成立现代传媒技术与艺术学院（中外合作办学机构），作为上海市大专层次中唯一一所公办中外合作办学机构，目前在校生规模403人。学院采用“3+2”办学模式，其中影视动画（中法合作）、广播影视节目制作（中法合作）引进3IS法国国际音像学院优质教育资源，广告设计与制作（中美合作）与美国奥特本大学建立合作联系。
With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the School of Modern Media Technology and Arts (education unit of Sino-foreign cooperation) was established by the College in March 2017 as the only public education program of Sino-foreign cooperation in Shanghai, with an enrollment of 403 students at present. The School adopts a "3+2" education model, in which the majors including the Film, TV and Animation (Sino-French cooperation) and the Radio, Film and TV Programming (Sino-French cooperation) have introduced high-quality education resources from the French 3IS International Institute Image & Sound, and the Advertising Design and Production (Sino-US cooperation) has established a cooperative relationship with the US Otterbein University.

As the open-up forefront of the College's education, the School always adheres to the objectives of strengthening ideological and political education, cultivating advanced media talents with international perspectives and patriotism, positively utilizing the advantages of education resources in Sino-foreign cooperation, focusing on improving students' global citizenship and international communication competences, telling Chinese stories well, spreading Chinese voices favorably, and making efforts to become a bridge and link of cohesion.
秉持多年的中外合作办学经验，现代传媒技术与艺术学院拥有一支长期合作、优势互补、高度融合的国际化师资队伍。其中，3IS法国国际音像学院专任教师4名、美国奥特本大学专任教师9名，学院还聘请传媒领域专家、学者10余名作为兼职教授。
Relying on the rich experience in Sino-foreign cooperation of education, the School has a highly integrated international faculty with long term cooperation and complementing each other with advantages. Among others, there are four full-time teachers from the 3IS International Institute Image & Sound, nine full-time teachers from the Otterbein University, and 10 plus media experts and scholars as part-time professors.

美国奥特本大学建立于1847年，是一所具有浓厚学术气氛的人文类综合性私立大学，坐落于美国俄亥俄州韦斯特维尔市，紧邻全美第15大城市哥伦布市（俄亥俄州首府）。美国奥特本大学在美国新闻与世界报道评选的2018年美国中西部地区高校最好的大学中排名第10位，在最具潜力高校榜中占据第七位。学校共设立75个专业和44个辅修专业。颁发学位包括本科生学士学位，研究生硕士学位和博士学位。
Established in 1847, the Otterbein University is a comprehensive private university in the humanities with a strong academic atmosphere. It is located in Westville, Ohio, adjacent to Columbus, the 15th largest city in the United States (the capital of Ohio). The Otterbein University ranked 10th among the Best Universities in the US Middle West by the US News & World Report, and 7th among the Most Promising Universities. The University has a total of 75 majors and 44 minors. The awarding of academic degrees covers bachelor's degrees for undergraduates, master's degree for graduates and doctoral degrees.

法国国际音像学院建立于1988年，拥有欧洲最大的视听学专业校区，颁发受法国国家认证的电影专业本科和硕士文凭，是法国最好的电影专业院校之一。拥有巴黎和巴尔多两个校区，是素有“法国奥斯卡”之称的“凯撒电影节”的指定承办高校，学校拥有超过1800个行业合作伙伴。
The 3IS International Institute Image & Sound was established in 1988 with the largest audiovisual education campus in Europe, offering undergraduate and master's diplomas in film, which are certified by the French government. It is one of the best film education institutions in France. 3IS has two campuses in Paris and Bardo respectively. It is the designated hosting university for the Festival du Film César - known as the "French Oscar", and has over 1,800 industry partners.

The School focuses on the trans-national and -regional chiastopic fusion of teachers, textbooks, teaching concepts, methods and academic appraisal, and promotes the "multi-track and simultaneous development" of trans-boundary cultivation of international outstanding talents.
广告设计与制作专业（中美合作）
Advertising Design and Production (Sino-US cooperation)
以美国奥特本大学广告设计与制作的优质课程为基础，结合学院影视广告的部分核心课程，培养学生具备当代艺术与科技、视觉传达设计、时基媒体基础、版式设计、二维设计基础等基本知识，掌握艺术色彩、设计策展、展示与公开演讲、广告三维视觉效果等基本技能，运用新媒体手段实现创意传播的国际化、复合型应用人才。
Based on the superior courses in the Advertising Design and Production at the Otterbein University, and combined with some of the core curricula in the Advertising on Film and TV at the School, students are trained to have basic knowledge of contemporary art and technology, visual communication design, time-based media foundation, layout design, 2D design foundation, etc., master basic skills such as artistic color, design curation, display, public speaking and 3D visual effects of advertising, and use new media methods to achieve international and composite application in creative communication.
广播影视节目制作专业(中法合作）
Radio, Film and TV Programming (Sino-French cooperation)
引入法国国际音像学院优质教育资源，以影视创作能力培养为核心，遵循先“行”后“知”、先“做”后“学”的教学理念，培养独立创意、独立拍摄、独立编辑纪录片、专题片、MV、微电影的一专多能的高素质、实用型人才。
The School has introduced superior education resources from the 3IS International Institute Image & Sound, focusing on the cultivation of film and TV invention, following the teaching philosophy of "doing" before "knowing" and "practicing" before "learning", cultivating advanced and practical talents with independent creativity, filming and editing of documentaries, special films, MV and microfilms.

Film, TV and Animation (Sino-French cooperation)
通过中法优质专业课程、教学体系和影像化教学资源共享，培养学生以国际视角熟练掌握影视广告、MG动画制作、三维动画创意与制作、数字手绘等专业技能。
By sharing the superior professional courses, teaching systems and visual teaching resources between China and France, students are trained to proficiently master professional skills such as film, TV and advertising, MG animation production, 3D animation creativity and production, and digital freehand sketching from an international perspective.

学院以教育创新促进学生价值的最大化，坚持在教育方法、培养模式和运行机制上不断开拓创新。采用校企双元育人模式，充分利用校台联盟和龙头企业的产业资源，形成了以“流程重构、体系搭建、产教融合”为核心的创新双元育人模式。
The School promotes the maximization of student value through education innovation, continuously explores and innovates in education methods, training models and operation mechanisms, adopts the school-enterprise dual-education model, fully utilizes the industrial resources of the school-enterprise alliance and leading enterprises, and forms an innovative dual-education model with "process reconstruction, system construction and industry-education integration" as the core.
目前与上海寅艾网络科技有限公司、上海视杰文化传播有限公司分别建立了影视动画和广播影视节目制作的顶岗实习基地，为学生提供了丰富的实践机会和行业接轨的平台，已建校企合作基地19个。
At present, the School has established internship bases for the Film, TV and Animation and the Radio, Film and TV Programming with Shanghai Yinai Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shijie Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., providing students with rich practical opportunities and platforms to join the industry. There are 19 school-enterprise cooperation bases established.

学院对标上海建设全国产教融合型试点城市建设目标，依托上海市14家区级融媒体中心、上海808游戏梦工厂等企业创造丰富的实践条件，帮助学生实现专业对口的就业机会；同时组建创业孵化联盟基地，帮助有创业计划的学生实现“创业梦”。
The School aims to benchmark for constructing a national pilot city for industry and education fusion in Shanghai, relying on 14 district Convergence Media centers and Shanghai 808 GAME to create rich practicing conditions, and helping students have opportunities of getting job suited to professional training. At the same time, the School has established an business incubation alliance base to help students with entrepreneurial plans achieve their business dreams.

近年来，学院组织学生积极参与各级、各类学科竞赛，以赛促学、以学促能，在各类各级评奖评优和大型赛事中取得了优异成绩。包括美国印刷大奖Benny Award（班尼奖）金奖、银奖，2022年德国红点品牌与传达设计Junior Award大奖，德国IF设计奖，泰戈尔国际电影节最佳制片人等国际奖项，全国大学生广告艺术大赛全国赛二等奖、“互联网+”创新创业大赛国赛银奖、全国高校数字艺术设计大赛（NCDA）金奖、中国好创意暨全国数字艺术设计大赛金奖等国内奖项。
In recent years, the School has organized students to actively participate in contests of various levels and disciplines, promoting learning by contests and developing competences by learning. The students have achieved excellent performance in various types and levels of awards and large contests, including gold and silver Benny Awards of the US Premier Print Awards, the Junior Award of German Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design in 2022, the German IF Design Award, the best producer of the Tagore International Film Festival and other international awards, the second prize of the National Undergraduate Advertising Arts Contest, the silver medal of the Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, the gold medal of the National College Digital Art & Design Contest (NCDA), the gold medal of the China Creative Challenges Contest and other awards in China.
教师荣获“视觉传媒创意创新教学团队”市级教师教学创新团队奖项，非遗再设计产教融合校企合作案例入选2023年上海市产教融合校企合作案例二等奖，Adobe Certified Professional世界大赛视频组一等奖和三等奖。
The teachers have won the municipal teaching innovation team award for Visual Media Creative Innovation Teaching Team, and the case of school-enterprise cooperation in industry-education fusion for redesign of intangible cultural heritage has been selected for the second prize of the Shanghai Case of School-Enterprise Cooperation in Industry-Education Fusion, 2023, and the first and third prizes in the video group of the Adobe Certified Professional World Contest.

学院2/3的毕业生能够升入国内外知名高校深造，专升本通过率连续三年保持在50%以上，就业率连续三年保持在98%以上，30%的学生在区级电视台、视觉和影视传媒企业就业，毕业生得到行业的高度认可。学院毕业生在求职就业过程中，集中呈现出外语能力强、综合素质高、拥有开阔国际视野的优势，就业稳定性高，广受用人单位好评，用人单位对我校毕业生的总体满意度高。
Two thirds of the graduates from the School are able to access well-known universities both at home and abroad for further study, the passing rate of college promotion has kept higher than 50% for three consecutive years, the employment rate has kept higher than 98% for three consecutive years, 30% of the students are employed by district TV stations, visual, film and media enterprises, and the graduates are highly recognized by the industry. During the job seeking and employment, graduates of the School tend to show high abilities in foreign language, superior comprehensive qualities and a broad international perspective. They enjoy high stability of employment and good reputation from employers, who have high satisfaction with our graduates.

学院通过开展国情教育、文化体验、国际文化交流等特色活动，教育引导学生在互动中探寻不同文化的核心价值观，拓展更加多元和国际化的视野。开展了一系列具有国际特色的文化活动和专业讲座。包含了“艺启新承”中外文艺交流互学活动、意大利面具与肢体疗愈跨文化交流活动、美法文化周、“一村一景，一墙一文化”等特色文化活动，举办“设计、艺术与美育”、“影视行业幕后：创意、技术与商业的交汇点”、“中国传统文化面面观”、“新媒体行业趋势”等系列讲座。
The School carries on characteristic activities such as education in national conditions, cultural experience and international cultural exchange to educate and guide students to explore core values of different cultures through interaction, and expand their diverse and international perspectives. The School offers a series of cultural activities and professional lectures with international characteristics, including characteristic cultural activities including the "Art Enlightenment and Inheritance" Sino-foreign cultural exchange, the Italian Mask and Body Healing cross-cultural exchange, the American and French Culture Week, and the "One Village, One Scene, One Wall, One Culture", as well as a series of lectures including "Design, Art and Aesthetic Education", "Behind the Scenes of Film and TV Industry: Intersection of Creativity, Technology and Business", "Comprehensive View of Chinese Traditional Culture", and "Trends in the New Media Industry".
