PrintExpo 2018 closed 10th June as South India's largest and most successful print show in its 10-year history with more than 13400 attendees and over 140 exhibitors occupying more than 60,000 net square feet area. PrintExpo 2018 was held in Hall 2 & 3 of Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai from 8-10 June 2018.
Serving the printing industry in South India for a decade, the 10th Edition of the show once again established and asserted its' position as South India's biggest, most successful and powerful business exhibition for the print industry.
Organised by Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd., exhibitors at PrintExpo 2018 is expected to generate business worth over 200 Crore. The exhibition not only generated spot business and but also generated hundreds of quality sales leads for the exhibitors.
The largest printing exhibition in South India, PrintExpo 2018 has the locational advantage of being organised in Chennai, as the location allowed easy access by air, rail and road to prospective buyers from the all 5 States of South India, viz., Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana. The growing importance of PrintExpo as an key trade shows for the printing industry in India was evident from the fact, this edition drew sizeable number of visitors from Pan India and overseas. While majority of visitors came from South India, visitors also came from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Orrisa, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and from Sri Lanka and Nepal. There was a large delegation that came from the Government Printing Press, Nepal.
Exhibitors were able to reach their target groups very effectively at PrintExpo 2018. The high-calibre of the visitors was rated as “Excellent” by most exhibitors surveyed, which presented ideal opportunities for companies to address their intended target groups.
The attendees to PrintExpo 2018 were very happy with the wide range of exhibits. They were particularly pleased with upmarket technology, innovation and solutions on show. They felt it was time well invested in attending the PrintExpo 2018.
The South Indian print marketplace has always been quick to adopt and embrace newer and sustainable technologies in print more than ever before, which is evident from the fact that most exhibitors have been exhibiting at PrintExpo 2018 continuously for 10 years.
In addition to technology and innovation, PrintExpo 2018 brought several educational offerings to attendees. Several print related educational institutions, associations and academies who were present at the show were imparting value based knowledge to visitors.
